Covilhã, is a Portuguese city belonging to the district of Castelo Branco, in the province of Beira Baixa, statistical region of the Center and sub-region of Beiras and Serra da Estrela. It is the gateway to Serra da Estrela and has 33,691 inhabitants (2021).
